Atlantic Beach “75 Summers” Events over Memorial Day Weekend

Our beautiful town of Atlantic Beach, North Carolina continues commemorating its 75th Summer with fun events and activities over Memorial Day Weekend.

Beginning Memorial Day Weekend, the Circle will have amusement rides, a water slide, music, food and fireworks. The rides will run from 1:00PM until 11:00PM and the Water Slide operates from 10:00AM until 7:00PM beginning Friday, May 25th thru Monday, 28th. A fireworks display will take place the after dark Saturday, May 26th.

There will also be 75 Summers T-shirts and stickers available for purchase from the Town Hall and during various events throughout the summer in the ticket tent at the Circle. We will keep you posted here on our Blog about events coming up!

McCurdy’s Restaurant, located in Atlantic Beach on Moonlight Bay, offers delicious, local seafood from the Crystal Coast of Eastern North Carolina. Our menu features charcoal-grilled seafood, in-house aged steaks, pasta dishes, crab cakes, crab legs, ribs and much more.   • Shrimp & Grits - a Southern favorite, sautéed shrimp, shitake mushrooms, house-made bacon, tomatoes and scallions, served over cheesy stone ground grits
  • Crab Stuffed Flounder fillet stuffed with a lump crab cake, baked golden brown and topped with lemon scented shrimp cream sauce, served with asparagus & rice
  • Gnocchi Bolognese – pillows of homemade gnocchi nestled in ground beef & pork Bolognese sauce, served with garlic bread
